About THE SHOW

Dead or Alive was born from the kind of conversations that don’t feel like interviews - relaxed, curious, and full of surprises.

Each episode invites artists, musicians, designers, and cultural voices to reflect on the people who inspire them most. The answers can be funny, heartfelt, unexpected, or all three at once.

At its heart, Dead or Alive is about influence - how creativity gets passed along, how inspiration shows up in our work, and how the people we admire continue to guide us long after the conversation ends.

ABOUT THE HOST

Taylor Mitchell is an Atlanta-based artist manager, creative producer, and interviewer rooted in the city’s music and creative communities.

Dead or Alive started as a personal challenge - a way for Taylor to work through social anxiety and ADHD by showing up, asking questions, and staying curious. What began as a small idea grew into a series centered on honest conversations and real connection.

Having spent years working closely with artists and creatives, Taylor brings a relaxed, thoughtful approach to each interview, creating space for guests to talk openly about who inspires them and how those influences shape their work.
